As the first CEO of Google, he wrote down key management rules like:

– Don’t delegate: Do everything you can yourself to make things go faster.

– Don’t get in the way if you’re not adding value. Let the people actually doing the work talk to each other while you go do something else.

– Don’t be a bureaucrat.

– Ideas are more important than age. Just because someone is junior doesn’t mean they don’t deserve respect and cooperation.

– The worst thing you can do is stop someone from doing something by saying, “No. Period.” If you say no, you have to help them find a better way to get it done.

which made him a successful person today.

Brin & Page was looking for someone who has that burning desire of making things big as the company was expanding & finally in the year 2001 Page left the chair of CEO to Eric Schmidt.

While Eric was taking care of Google’s visions, Page was working on Google’s core products & researching on new technologies, even acquisition of Android was also part of his decision.

After 10 years, in 2011 Page decided to take back his chair as the CEO & from there, a new chapter started. In 2012 Google launched Google+, its first Chromebook laptop, Google Glass, high-speed-internet service Fiber. In 2015 he became the CEO of parent company Alphabet to do more ambitious things & keeping the long term view.

Google never looked back & achieved many milestones all these years under his leadership & now the company is working on self-driving cars through its new company Waymo & data-driven transportation improvements through Sidewalk Labs. Page is reportedly an investor in two companies: Kitty Hawk & Zee.Aero that are developing a technology which will make cars fly in coming days.

Larry Page is very much focused on changing the world through technology & he doesn’t step back setting up big goals to digitize the planet.
