Expedia is basically an American based travel company formed by Barry Diller(Chairman), Dara Khosrowshahi(CEO),Mark Okerstrom(CFO), which currently owns diverse international global online travel brands and travel metasearch engines including Expedia.com, hotels.com, hotwire.com, trivago.com , venere.com, travelocity ,orbitz and homeaway. Though recently the company has been in limelight as it has been voted the best UK company for work – life balance according to Glassdoor’s 2k17 rankings.

Glassdoor allows employees to rate and survey their companies genuinely with anonymity, so its results are likely to be pretty concrete. Now having a gander into the companies inner ambience it was revealed that the employees of the company are given a range of ridiculously good benefits to keep them captivated , which comprise of a travel allowance worth (6000-10000) pounds for most employees who have been associated with the company for “more than 12-18 months” depending on the year grade.The wall behind the reception is covered in pictures from employees’s holidays.
