For the past few months, North Korea has advanced in its ICBM technology more than any other time in the history of the alien country. Under the leadership of their current leader Kim Jong Un, the country has made quite a remarkable success which might not be ä great news for the rest of the world.
Recently, the country was shaken by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that is suggested by experts to be the outcome of testings of the new advanced hydrogen bomb developed by the nation. The earthquake was felt only 10 km deep and the US Geological Survey is suggesting that it was caused due to a nuclear device.
In July, the nation was reportedly successful in developing intercontinental ballistic missiles which had the capability to destroy even important parts of the US. In defiance of UN Security Council resolutions and sanctions, the country carried on its nuclear program and hit groundbreaking success which was not celebrated by most of its neighbour countries. The KCNA, which is the only news channel in the country stated that the nation “recently succeeded” in making advance hydrogen bomb that was set to be the heart of the ICBMs that were developed before. Also, the power of such missiles should not be taken lightly as they are adjustable and can range from tens kiloton to hundreds kilotons.
KCNA also reported that the leader of the country recently visited the institute and watched a H-bomb being loaded into a new IBCM. The H-bomb is expected to be able to achieve at least thousands of kilotons and is similar to the bomb that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. The news channel also informed that Kim has stated that every part of the missiles and bombs were homemade and nothing taken from else where.
US has been trying hard to urge China which happens to be North Korea’s only major ally to be more stern with the nation in order to keep things under control. Also, the US, Japan and South Korea are joining forces together and working under a good mutual understanding because of the growing threat of North Korea. Also, the White House has stated, “President Trump noted that he looks forward to continued trilateral coordination on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly.” What makes South Korea the most vulnerable among the three is the reason that both countries are literally at war to this date after the 1950-53 conflict did not end in a peace treaty.
Well, though we do not know much about the country, pictures were released of Kim Jong inspecting a hour glass shaped warhead. Also, expects noted that this hourglass weapon was a “more complete” form of what a hydrogen bomb is like. The shape also indicates that the bomb might be a two-stage thermonuclear weapon.
