Welcome to my website & blog!

I’m so glad I’m able now to share my thoughts with my supporters, fans, and friends. I’ve been a busy girl since my book came out. I was all over the place. I heard an ex boyfriend of mine had sold old personal camera phone videos of me to the media. That hurt. I was devastated that someone I once loved, cared for, and trusted could do that to me.  My life changed.

My book was about to come out that Monday, and the videos were already being talked about Monday morning. My detractors and attackers wanted nothing more than for me to crawl in a whole and not come out. They thought I would be too humiliated (which I was) to come out and be on these shows and still promote my book Still Standing. I wasn’t afraid of what people (the media) thought, I was concerned with my fans. I was concerned with the many little girls out there who look up to me and admire me. There is a lesson to be learned here. Nothing is private anymore. I learned that people will sell their souls for nickels, and not care about it. My ex boyfriend sold his soul to make money off of a girl he once loved.  I should have never taken the videos in the first place and sent it to him. That was stupid of me! How dumb and Naive could I have been to actually trust my boyfriend at the time (sadly enough girls do it all the time). I learned my lesson, and had to admit to it on National television. But you know what… it only made me stronger.

I am a woman of God, a woman of courage, and a women who doesn’t back down from what’s right. I gave an answer at a beauty pageant, and ever since then my world has been turned upside down. I never knew the power of political correctness, and how dangerous it is in this society to actually speak the truth from your heart rather than to back down to political correctness. When I had my first appearance on Sean Hannity show, I knew I was in a friendly environment; I was pleased with the way it turned out, but knew for the rest of that week, they weren’t all going to be that way. The next morning was Fox and Friends, the Today show, and The View. I knew 2 out of the 3 would be tough. Especially The View. I will get into a little more detail about them later on…. but for now, I’d like to set the record straight here on the Larry King interview.

We had received a call that morning; Larry King’s producer wanted me on the show. I was a little hesitant because I don’t care for Larry King that much, don’t really watch his show, and have been on his show before and for whatever reason; he feels the need to “trick” his guests on his shows. I told my publicist I didn’t really want to be on his show. They said it would be great if I went on and would find out more details about the interview. Later, we heard Donald Trump was going to be on with me. I immediately said no way. I’m here to talk about my book, not about Donald Trump (no offense but wasn’t this called a book tour? not a Donald Trump vs. Carrie Prejean debate. (Even though I’m sure the media would have loved that story or headline… “Carrie at war with Donald Trump”. HAHA the media sure loves drama. My publicist told Larry Kings producer Carrie does not want to go on the show with anyone else, just her and Larry, and there would be no call in’s or any surprises. The producer gladly said that Larry really wants her on the show, and it will be very friendly, no surprises, and no guests or call in’s. She even knew that I wasn’t allowed to talk about anything dealing with mediation or the lawsuit.

Glad we were able to come to an agreement with the show. I felt very good about it. We came in to the studio and they missed me up. I sat down waiting for Larry King to come on and say hello. He did, off the air and was very friendly and seemed glad to have me on. I laughed and told him to be nice to me, he promised he would. The interview started, and before you know it Larry King was asking about the lawsuit, why I settled, asking about mediation. etc. I knew it was time to leave. I was not going to be put in a position where my integrity could be compromised. His producers knew I was not able to talk about that, they knew that if he asked those types of questions, I was not able to answer them. He did it anyway.

He took advantage of a 22 year old beauty queen, being drilled on tv and asked things in which he had no business asking. A journalist with respect and ethics doesn’t be persistent like that with someone when they say the first time, they aren’t able to talk about THAT issue, or THIS issue. I told Larry King he was being inappropriate meaning he was asking questions over and over again in which he knew I was legally not able to discuss. The last straw was when I heard a “caller” call in, I didn’t even hear the question, I just immediately took my mic off and smiled, and told my publicist it was time to leave. I never ended up leaving but I was very disappointed at the lack of professionalism of a man who knows what’s right and wrong. Larry King was wrong for doing that. But in 52 years, no one has called him out on being wrong.

I did it in the most respectful, gracious way, and for that I’m proud of. Glad to have set the record straight on that… I hope to be back tomorrow for another blog :) keep following.

Peace, Love, Respect,
Carrie

Howdy miss Carrie, I’m glad to find your website after struggling many times searching for it. deeply inside happy to comment on your great message. Carrie I admire you so much you have done wonderful with all what went with you either interviews , apparels or handling situations. you cannot believe how much I saw videos on youtube concerning all your interviews you had, supported you, backed you up with all my strength commenting on each single video.

Okay, I bought your book from a week ago, I was really eager to read it by the way. finished it in two days. good for you you’ve done good !!! nothing to say except standing and approaching you all time.

about the tape the gutless, treason and betray guy released was very unexpected ! as I’m a twenty two years old guy ( btw, I’m younger than you in two months) would never think to do an obnoxious thing like what he did.

For Larry King’s show you should of slapped him on the face for being extremely pushy and rude. Unfortunately you were far away from him.

  4. travis1975 says:

I think that it’s a shame that there’s no one in the media is out there defending you. I don’t think you’re a hypocrite because of what you did in private.

Keep your head up and stay strong!!!!

Sorry to hear that someone would sell out like that. That’s sad. You do have people that still support and are against that type of degenerate behavior of humiliating a woman publicly. I would be worried about The View also but not as much. I think the only one really unfair to you was Joy but I’d know that coming in especially from a previous show she did. You kinda have to handle her like Bill O’reilly did and you can’t take things personal.

About Larry King, I think he was up to the line by the 2nd or 3rd time he asked but he kept going. Remember, he is on a news network and for him to get you to answer is his goal but it was clear you were not going there. Larry King knows very well how answering a question can cause a consequence. A question Larry should be familiar with is, Who was the ugliest Miss America contestant at the competition? which he should know what happened there after.

Lets say she answers the question saying: I settled because of this, and that, and the “this and that” was part of the discussion during mediation, she would have violated the agreement which she can’t afford to happen. Regardless, people can call you whatever, but I know I wouldn’t of answered it either. I would have repeated over and over like you did. Obviously, they were unorganized if the host didn’t know about not taking calls and they didn’t cut to break or help their guest sooner.

A lot of people want to gain success from seeing your downfall, want to see you fail and it’s not over. So sorry, it really is sad and I am against it but you do have people that are supportive and regardless, you have to stay strong and build your foundation on the rock. If you were a close friend, I would suggest to have fun with it but be very careful. Don’t take the questions personal even when they are somewhat ridiculous or meant to bring you down. I know, easier said than done.

Hi.I’ve seen the videos of all your appearances and can’t get enough of you. You’re Great!I hope that many tv & movie oppourtunities come your way.The Larry King interview was an unfortunate mishap and it is quite obvious that the women on The View were being jerks. The Fox&Friends appearance in the pretty blue dress really showed your beauty and charming personality and is my favorite.Have a nice Thanksgiving!Bye.

    Hi Carrie,

I am very sad to hear that Larry King mistreated you. Thank you for speaking the truth on stage during the Miss USA contest. I know that took courage. You gave a very soft answer to a very hard question posed to you in front of millions of viewers. Perez Hilton blatantly showed the vindictive, unapologetic, militant nature of radical homosexuality when he abused his authority as a contest judge, costing you the opportunity to win the contest. And when he later savaged you in his blog, it spoke volumes about homosexual intolerance and about the blind eye the liberal media is turning to the vicious hate being hurled at those who disagree with them.

You have become an icon to many conservatives of the increasingly militant nature of radical homosexuality. I have debated many people on youtube about radical homosexuality and have often referred to you as a excellent example of homosexual intolerance of those who even politely disagree with them.

Though it has cost you dearly on a personal level, I am sure your name will echo through the political arenas, as traditional family defenders seek to quell the voices crying intolerance. Your loss has been a gain in that movement because of the contrast of your soft spoken statement being answered by Hilton’s rage. It reveals the intolerance of the shrill voices on the left.

  9. rhsimard says:

Welcome back, Carrie. I hope and pray that Thanksgiving was, and the coming weeks will be, a chance to let the craziness of the past weeks fade into the past.

There are a lot of things that make this story as significant and arresting as it is. I have several reasons why I have chosen to keep a close eye on what is happening in the public arena, as well as here, and with every passing day, I am more and more convinced that there is much more at play than meets the eye. I’ll refrain from going into that in any detail right here and right now; the overall conclusion is that a close look at the sheer magnitude of the torrent of rage that has so characterized the reaction of so much of the world does not make sense by any sensible measure of the events that would seem to have triggered it. It’s like a case of road rage when someone gets beaten to death by someone else who didn’t like getting cut off on the freeway, except that instead of it being one isolated individual with severe mental problems, it was a very large sector of the world’s population going all at once into a rabid frenzy of polemic attack.

God has a reason and a purpose in this, and I suspect that those things will be of importance to more than just one or two sectors of society.

I agree with those others here who believe that God has chosen you for a very special purpose, the reasons for which are still known to Him alone. Trust Him, as you have been, and you will continue to stand. Keep your eye on the other boat and your trust in Jesus standing there, and the water will continue to support you. Meanwhile, your supporters here and elsewhere will continue to do whatever we can to help.

God bless you, now and through the coming Christmas season.

Oswald Chambers wrote that the work doesn’t get done on the beautiful and breath taking mountain tops but in the bleak valleys. I am 52 years old and my life has had its deep bleak valleys. I am a prison guard (Corrections Officer) that has met Christ and can see in you the reflection of Jesus himself. The honesty that you convey, despite the onslought of constant attaches by the media is truly heroic. Don’t allow them to chip away at your spirit because God will use you in His time and for His purpose. Beauty does fade, but the Spirit continues to gain, in His power and in His Love. God has truly blessed you in a way that is beyond just beauty. You are in Christ. Thank you for being an inspiration to me and remember “Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”

    Dear Carrie:

Wow, what an inspriration and a leader you are, and just at a time when this country needed you so.

Your mom is also very cool and I love what she said about Larry King and the high powered media idiots. Good for her and good for every one els to here what you two have to say, as you are like a river in a parched land. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please dont worry about offending people, because Jesus and his followers offended people too, esp. those who wanted to kill him, just like the liberal left has been abusing you.
I thank God for your life, testimony and position. You are a mighty warrioress and there are millions of untold people out there that are so happy for you and your voice.
I read your book in 5 hours the other night, it came at a time when I really needed it to encourage me, to speak out about some things that God has been wanting me to. Your book changed me.
My son attended La Jolla High School and graduated in 2004. For some reason I thought you attended his high school. Anyway, we live here in Eugene, Oregon now.
I will be buying your book for him for Christmas.
Thank you again, and I hope to keep in touch with you.
    Many blessings and prayers,
    Michelle Bakken

    Dear Carrie:

A personal note to you is out of Isiaih 8:11-15 and how Isiaih became the “rock of offense” to those in rebellion……also how in verse 15 what happens to those who became ensnared against him…..
I read this this morning and thought of you…..please read and enjoy. (Please remember and tell your mom it is a good thing sometimes to offend people!!)

    Carrie:

We all make mistakes and you’ll get no criticism nor judgment from me. I have said many times that while you made the mistakes you have admitted to, the real evil here is what was done TO YOU by someone who supposedly cared about you. That kind of opportunism — selling something meant for private to a public media company for media consumption is beyond despicable. And while it is not my place to condemn someone you were involved with, it is important to point out that decent people would never do such a thing, no matter how much money is to be gained. And I note here that you could but haven’t identified the person of questionable integrity, which shows us the measure of your integrity.

It reminds me of the horrible person that released private photos of Dr. Laura Schlesinger a few years ago, just to make money and embarrass the woman he supposedly cared about at one time. Again, a despicable act. There is not one woman I have ever dated that I would ever seek to hurt in any way. We’ve all been through break ups - both people get hurt and its never something easy to go through - but men and women must be mature and not seek to hurt a person who was once the object of their affection.

I wish you well and God’s blessings because being honest and truthful is a challenging road.

  14. rhsimard says:

So very, very true, thejimmyzshow .

From that, I ask: where is the outrage? Why is the same public so willing and eager to deliver opinions about Carrie so silent on the betrayal of her by this person?

There have been so many examples of gross disrespect and incivility in this story, the two most prominent of which are this case of betrayal and the extreme viciousness of Perez Hilton, both of which have gotten little more than a yawn from the public and the media. What is going on in our society and our values?

    Bless you, dear!
    However, a passage for you:

    1 Timothy 2:
I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God. A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.

Keep that in mind before revealing side-boob in your next photo shoot, hon. Other than that, PREACH IT!

Carrie don’t ever go on Larry King ever again. He should have retired years ago. Learning life’s lessons is tough but there’s only one way to learn them and it is to experience setbacks. Remember that a setback is a setup for a comeback! I admire you and support your views on marriage being between a man and a woman. Your ex-boyfriend is not worth talking about. Someone mentioned that no one has come forward to support you but that is not true. Sean Hannity has been supporting you from day one. You have many other supporters Carrie so keep your head up. Keep telling it like it is. God’s way is the WAY!

    carrie,
It’s a shame how bias the media can be. I felt sick to my stomach that a man riddled with a perverse sin as homosexuality, can get away with verbally abusing and openly place any moral judgement on a woman, but then again the miss america pageant is owned by a ex-sinful womanizer. Sure your a sinner, we all are. I’m the cheifest.
Satan is hard at work in the world today.
He has perverted our covetous country and continues to deceive christians.
Thats why pornography and the idolatry of worshipping the “beauty of woman” has been an epidemic.
The scriptures warn us all thru the stories of oholibah and her sister. Oholibah coveted paintings of officers riding on horses. They seen the judgement of their choices. as will we.
Don’t ever think that americans can’t fall deeper into the lowest of lows. there is always a deeper bottomless pit after falling into the sewer hole of sexual impurity.
I’m so thankful and appreciative that you carrie prejean have not fallen into the pit of temptation to seduce, tempt, and destroy human beings by accepting any sick contracts from the disgraced vivid porno peddlers. I think your a great human being for standing up for what a true woman is: graceful. Self controlled. Soft spoken. Virtuous. Compassionate. And strong.
I pray carrie prejean not to ever have a spirit of fear, but love, power, and a sound mind. Christ is the sabbath, rest in him always. Semper Fidelis.
